The first ever meeting of the Intercollegiate Flute Choir of Louisiana will take place on Saturday February 28th 12-5pm at the Northwestern State University campus. 

This ensemble is open to all flute students currently studying at a University in Louisiana.

The music will be symphonic style arrangements for large flute choir. Parts will be sent out in advance for participants to practice and prepare. 

Repertoire for the first meeting will be:

Debussy - Prelude a l'apres midi d'un faune 

Rimsky Korsakov - Capriccio Espagnole

Ravel - Mother Goose Suite

All participants are invited to stay for a private class with Demarre Mcgill in the evening after rehearsals and are also strongly encouraged to attend the Flute Festival the following day.
